Grace Gwendolyn DeBerry Gray, 75, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Monday, December 20, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Spring Hill Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia, with the Rev. Blane Jacobs officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Gray was born August 27, 1946, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Lonnie & Lona Mobley DeBerry. She graduated from Irwin County High School in 1964 and later received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Georgia Southwestern College. She worked as the office manager for Gray Peanuts, was Controller at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald and retired as Director of Patient Financial Services at Coffee Regional Hospital. Mrs. Gray enjoyed reading, traveling, visiting the river and boating at the lake. She never met a stranger and loved following her grandchildren to their different activities. Mrs. Gray was a member of Ocilla Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jack Gray of Irwin County; her son, Alan Gray & Tami of Irwin County; and two grandchildren: Taylor Gray & her fiancé, Judson George and Jackson Gray.
