Douglas C. Carter, 63, of Tiverton, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at home. He was the son of Marion (Cornell) Carter of Little Compton and the late Charles E. Carter, Jr.
Mr. Carter was born in Fall River and was a graduate of I.T.T. He worked as a metal spinner for REFLEK Corp., Fall River. He was an avid Red Sox fan who enjoyed reading, listening to music and going to concerts. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, making memories with his cousins and traveling.
Survivors along with his mother include his 2 sisters: Donna Gardella of Little Compton and Dianne Matthews and her husband Douglas of Little Compton; a nephew: Matthew Ferreira; 3 nieces: Rachael Matthews, Lillian Ferreira, Angeline Gardella.
He was the uncle of the late Benjamin Ferreira and brother-in-law of the late Alfred Ferreira.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
