Obituary

WEBSTER-Russell W. Anderson, 75, of Thompson Rd. died Friday, April 21 surrounded by his family.

His wife, Elaine L. (Scott) Anderson died in 1997. He leaves his son, Scott G. and his wife Elaine G. Anderson, two grandchildren, Scott M. Anderson and Lisa Anderson all of Webster.

He was born in Worcester the son of Charles E. and Margaret M. (Wray) Anderson and graduated from South High School. He lived in Worcester for many years before moving to Webster six years ago. Russell worked for Addressagraph Multigraph as a service repairman for many years before retiring. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, the Scandinavian Athletic Club in Shrewsbury, Past Patron of the former Wachusett Chapter Order of the Eastern Star of West Boylston and now the Pakachoag Order of the Eastern Star, Morning Star Lodge of Masons AF&AFI, Grand Lodge of Masons of Massachusetts, Miramichi Salmon Association of New Brunswick, Canada, Denny’s River Sportsman Club of Dennyville, Maine, Life member of the Rutland Sportsman Club, the Shop Brook Fishing Association of Barre and Senior Member of the Singletary Rod & Gun Club of Oxford.

The Funeral will be Monday, April 24 at 11:00 AM at LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St., Worcester. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. Visiting hours will be Sunday, April 23 from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.
