SPENCER: Elinor F. "Nan" (Robator) Gordon,81, of Spencer, died Sunday, Dec. 19th. at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.
She leaves her husband of 61 years, John J. "Jack" Gordon, Sr., her son John J. "Jackie" Gordon, Jr. of Charlton, her brother James W. Robator and his wife Madeleine of Sturbridge, a granddaughter Grace Haley Gordon of Tarpon Springs, Fl., many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her grandson Matthew Luke Gordon in 2018, her sister Dorothy Chisholm in 2019 and her godchild William Chisholm.
Elinor was a sales clerk at the former Fair Dept. Store in Spencer for 20 years and most recently at Klem's in Spencer before retiring in 2010.
She was born in Spencer, the daughter of Joseph W. and Beatrice l. (Barrett) Robator and lived here all of her life.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, Dec. 23 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m.
in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. A calling hour will precede the services from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home on Thursday. The family suggests that masks be worn during all of the services.
