Annette Jodie Gully - Obituary

It is with great sadness for those here, yet with great joy for our beloved, to let you know that Annette Jodie (Woodcock) Gully entered her Eternal Heavenly home on Friday, December 17, 2021.

Annette was born to Norma Plies, in Worcester, Massachusetts, on August 22, 1963. During Annette’s school days, as she was being raised by her grandparents, Annette and Peter Liangos, Annette enjoyed excelling in competitive gymnastics.

Annette shared her adult life, full of love and adventure, with her devoted husband (and the love of her life) of 34 years, Jon Henry Gully. Her sweet Jonnybell. Annette and Jon enjoyed traveling, spending time by the beach, and with family and friends. Oh and of course, rooting for those Clemson Tigers and New England Patriots.

Annette with Jon, parented Norma Rae and Jon Peter Gully with unconditional love and devotion. Annette loved being a mom and was known to be ‘Mama Gully’ to all Norma’s and JP’s friends, by treating all their friends as if they were her own. She had open ears and would never let someone leave her house hungry.

Annette will be remembered as someone who loved having a good time and serving others. From her time in the U.S. Army, to years as a dedicated member of the Yeshiva Academy and NorteDame du lac, to her time in catering, education, and healthcare, Annette was always thinking of what she could do for others. Annette also enjoyed cooking, crafting, being hospitable to all, making sure everyone felt welcome, and well fed, in her home.

In addition to her husband and children, Annette leaves behind Peter Woodcock and Harry Woodcock, brothers, and her sister, Toni Milus, along with so many ‘chosen’ family. Annette was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Plies, her grandparents, Annette and Peter Liangos, and her brother, Scott Woodcock.

Annette “Nettie” would want you to smile when hearing her name and cherish moments you shared.
