Frieda Wittman Wilds, 93, of Tifton passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at her residence. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Mrs. Wilds at a later date.
Born July 25, 1928, in Haag, Germany, Mrs. Wilds was the daughter of the late Herman Wittman, Sr. and Uma Wittman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Milton Wilds; one son, David Milton Wilds; one brother; and two sisters. She was a homemaker but, before retiring she was a spinner operator at J. P. Stevens. She received her citizenship in the United States in 1956 and she was a member of New River Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Wilds is survived by one son, Mark Wilds of Tifton; one daughter, Ruth Conley of Tifton; two brothers, Herman Wittman, Jr. and Hans Wittman, both of Germany; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
