Curtis Elton Suggs, 80, of Tifton passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021, at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church in Tifton with the Rev. John Sewell officiating. Kirk Lavender will offer a eulogy. Mr. Suggs will be laid to rest at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Brodie Suggs, Blake Suggs, Tom Bisdorff, William Germaine, Garrett Phillips and Colton Manac will serve as pallbearers. Willie Dillard will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Born April 15, 1941, in Worth County, Mr. Suggs was the son of the late Jewett Miles Suggs and Eunice Wade Suggs. Before retiring, he was a textile worker. He was a member of Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton.
Mr. Suggs is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Pilcher Suggs of Tifton, who he married on July 10, 1959; two sons, Gary and Lisha Suggs and Steve and Donna Suggs; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rayford and Anita Suggs and Tracy and Linda Suggs; one sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Travis Bentley; five grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Amanda Suggs, Nikki and Tom Bisdorff, Kayla and William Germaine, Blake and Karlie Suggs and Allison and Garrett Phillips; and ten great-grandchildren, Colton Manac, Dixie Manac, Blaine Manac, Airiauna Bisdorff, Finleigh Bisdorff, Will Germaine, Kayden Germaine, Alex Germaine, Brodie Suggs and Gray Suggs.
