Obituary


Ian J. Taylor, age 62, of Wilmington formerly of Ludington Michigan, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, he was the youngest son of Kathleen (Hoffman) Taylor & Robert Taylor Sr. both of Ludington Michigan. He was the youngest brother to Robert and his wife Jean, Terrance and his wife Judy, Susan and her husband Steven, Mark and his wife Terri Lyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the loving father of Ava Grace Taylor, Stepfather to Richard D. Molander and father to Kasha & Kayla, and three grandchildren. He leaves behind his beloved wife Susan (Onessimo) Taylor.

Ian loved music especially the music of his favorite bands, the Beatles and the Eagles. He studied martial arts and enjoyed drawing and painting. He also loved nature and being outdoors hiking and enjoying deer, squirrels and birds and all wildlife. First and foremost he loved his Bible and studying about God`s Kingdom on (JW.ORG) eating healthy foods and vitamins. In his leisure time he also enjoyed playing the guitar, banjo and harmonica. He loved to travel and sightsee and go on family road trips. He loved gardening, working on big puzzles and frame them when they were completed. Ian will be cremated and later buried at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree, MA.
