Obituary

Margaret (Logan) McIntyre, 92, formerly of Medway, died December 16 at Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Whitinsville following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was the wife of the late Wallace Joseph McIntyre.

Born in Belmont, March 22, 1929, the daughter of the late Murray and Viola (Muirhead) Logan, Mrs. McIntyre grew up in Belmont and had been a longtime resident of Medway.

Margaret was a graduate of Belmont High School and New London Junior College.

She retired in 1985 as the Assistant Director of Volunteer Services at Milford Regional Hospital where she had worked for 15 years.

Margaret had enjoyed going to the Medway Senior Center, playing Scrabble, bingo, and joining sing-a-longs.

Marg spent many happy summers at her cottage in Prince Edward Island, Canada from 1985 to 2004.

She is survived by her children, Lawrence McIntyre and his wife Nancy of Medway, Andrew McIntyre of Medway and Jeanne White and her husband Jon of Uxbridge.

Margaret is also survived by her grandchildren Rory McIntyre and Skye McIntyre-Bolen.

Margaret was predeceased by her sister Edith Whalley of Bradford, New Hampshire.

Her funeral services will be private.

Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of Massachusetts 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
