Beverly A. (Rodrigues) MacDonald, 81, of New Bedford passed away Sunday December 5, 2021 at home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Donald R. MacDonald.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joaquim and Brites (Farias) Rodrigues, she lived in New Bedford all of her life. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and UMass Dartmouth.
Beverly was formerly employed as a social worker in the adult day care industry in this area.
She loved knitting, crocheting, and being around her friends. She was also a strong advocate for animals.
She is survived by her children, Beverly Jerome, Lois Jerome, and Manuel Jerome; her sister, Edite Rodrigues and her husband Joe; her grandchildren, Donita Mendez, Gregory Mendes, Brie Mendes, Derek Jerome, and Heather Jerome; and her great-grandchildren, Alexis, Adryn, and Anjel.
