Obituary

Salvatore "Sam" Antinoro, 86, US Army veteran and longtime Tewksbury resident, died peacefully at home surrounded
by his loved ones on December 15, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Caiani) Antinoro with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage.

Born in Boston on November 29, 1935, he was the son of the late Anthony and Virginia Antinoro.

Sam worked as an auto mechanic in his early years but went on to work for and retire from the MBTA in Everett as a member of the Local IBEW Chapter 717.

Sam, a devoted Red Sox and Patriots fan, enjoyed cooking, gardening, and was a highly skilled wood craftsman. He worked proudly and tirelessly around his family home, creating beautiful vegetable and flower gardens. Just about anyone who saw him outside tending to his flowers would stop by to compliment Sam on what a beautiful yard he had.

In addition to his wife, Sam is survived by his three children: sons Anthony and his fiance Cheryl Pearl of Hudson NH, Mark and his wife Debra (Michals) of Newburyport, and his daughter Barbara Kiberstis and her husband Kenneth of Methuen. Sam was the very proud and loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren: Derek Antinoro and his wife Ashley, Talia Barker and her husband Phil, Adam, Eric, Mia and Sophia Antinoro, Sarah and Melanie Antinoro, Michaela and Leah Kiberstis, Lily Pearl,
and Molly and Isabelle Russell, as well as six great-grandchildren: Callista, Arya and Anthony Antinoro, Audrey and Phoebe Barker, and Matthew Hood. Sam is also survived by his brother Charles and his wife Irene of Reading as well as many, many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends., was the beloved brother of the late Josephine "Jo" (Antinoro) Ippolito, with whom he shared a very special bond.
Sam will also be greatly missed by his cat and nap partner Winston.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Sunday. January 30, 2022, from 2-5 p.m. at the Tewksbury Country Club located at 1880 Main Street, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be sent to High Pointe House, who took wonderful care of him during his last days, at 360 North Ave. in Haverhill Ma. 01830.
