Vincent F. Masone Jr, 77 of Whitman, Massachusetts passed away on December 14, 2021.
Born in Boston in 1944 he was the eldest child of the late Vincent Masone Sr and Rose Masone.
He graduated from Brighton High School and later joined the Marine Corp and served our country during the Vietnam War. Anyone who knew Vinny knew how proud he was to be a Marine. When he came home from Vietnam, he became a member of Local 6 Insulators Union until he retired in 2004.
Vinny also worked as a limo driver for many years after retirement “Vinny the Hat”.
One of his biggest accomplishments was being a dad, he was the rock that held everyone together and he was our world.
He leaves behind his wife Deborah Masone of Whitman. He was the adoring father of Melissa and Anthony Nicotera, Danielle and Anthony Davy and Nikki Masone all of Whitman. He was the loving Papa to Ryan, Mikey, Dominic, and Juliana. He is also survived by his siblings Robert, Paul, Kenny, and Judy.
Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Vinny’s life.
Services will be Tuesday December 21, 4-7pm at Blanchard’s Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Funeral will be on Wednesday December 22 at 9:45 am from the Chapel followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 am, in the Holy Ghost Church, 518 Washington Street, Whitman. Burial will follow funeral in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman.
