Mr. Robert E. “Bobby” Furey, born and raised in West Medford, MA, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. He was 93 years old.
Bobby was married to his childhood sweetheart, Lucille V. (Elliott) Furey for 65 years until her death in 2015. He is survived by his brothers, Armon and Cecel Furey, daughters, Donna Furey-Skinner and her husband Al and Diana Furey, grandchildren, Vaniecia and Andre Skinner and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a graveside burial service on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford, at 1:30 PM for family and friends.
As a precaution, face masks should be worn. We encourage you to be safe, social distance, wear masks and live well. We love you all. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobby's memory may be made to the West Medford Community Center, 111 Arlington Street, Medford, MA 02155.
