Marilyn C. King, 76, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, April 20, 2006, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 22, 2006, at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffee County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 Friday evening.
Mrs. King was born May 29, 1929, in Coffee County, Georgia, to the late Benjamin and Fannie Kirkland Carelock. She was a homemaker and had lived in the community most of her life. She was a former resident of Wilcox County and Coffee County.
Mrs. King is survived by her son: Willis Paul King of Abbeville; daughter: Brenda Pope Rossi of Pompano Beach, FL; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Ginger Harper of Winter Haven, FL and Latrell English of Lilburn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul (Son) King.
