Tim Alsbury, age 61 of Prosser, fell into the arms of Jesus on December 7, 2021, at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington. He was born on May 4, 1960, in Richland to Nancy Alsbury (Walter). He grew up in Eastern Washington and California.
Tim and Lori Marquissee were married on September 16, 1978, in Hayward, California, then moved to Prosser, making it their home for 36 years.
Over the years, he worked as a communications technician, certified commercial diver in Eastern Washington, and a law enforcement officer for 24 years in Prosser and Pasco, retiring in November 2011.
Tim enjoyed flying planes with his friend, John May, motorcycle and Jeep riding, backpacking in the Cascade Mountains, kayaking the Columbia River, traveling and RVing to national parks, sturgeon fishing, diving, music, shooting and building guns, building models, and antique watch repair.
Tim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lori Alsbury of Prosser; son, Jason Alsbury and family Brittany, Kalie, and Kyla of Richland; son, Nick Alsbury and family Nicole, Daya, and Xander of Prosser; daughter, Courtney Alsbury of Walnut Creek, California; and parents, Nancy and Larry Walter of Prosser. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nora and Thomas Alsbury.
