LEICESTER: Carole A. (Printer) Hawes,74, of Carleton Rd., Rochdale, died Saturday, Dec. 11 after a prolonged battle with congestive heart failure. She leaves her husband of 58 years, William C. Hawes, her daughter Monica C. Hawes of Cherry Valley, her son Richard C. Hawes of Spencer, her brothers; Robert Printer and his wife Linda and Timothy Printer and his wife Colleen all of Coventry, RI., her sisters Gayle Hadfield and her husband Russell, Stephanie Behm and Deborah Marsocci all of Warwick RI., three grandchildren; David Sherman and his wife Katelyn of Charlton, Kendra Sherman and her fiancé Jorden Straub of Auburn and Courtney McKeon of Fall River, five great grandchildren; Mason, Cody, Finley, Granger and Hope, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Steven Printer. Carole was born in Providence, the daughter of Robert A and Dorothy (Fenner) Printer. Carole grew up in the small town of Foster, RI, the oldest of 7 siblings. She had a caring nature that carried into a career in the healthcare field. Carole worked primarily with the elderly and became a strong advocate for her patients. Carole had a way of bringing joy and laughter during the good and bad times. She was greatly loved by her family and friends who will forever miss her. At Carole’s request graveside services will be held privately with her family in Foster, RI. Please omit flowers.
