Anna Maria Stewart, Age 83, died peacefully on December 9, 2021 at Epsom Health Care Center, after a long fulfilled life. She was the wife of the late George Benjamin Stewart, the former Chief of Police in Everett, MA.
She was born in East Boston, one of four children of the late John and Louise (Marcantonio) Indelicato, and after her marriage George, raised her family in Everett. They moved to Tewksbury in the 1970’s and retired to Delray Beach, Florida and in 2007 returned to New Hampshire for family support in their “golden Years”.
While in Tewksbury, she was a member of the Newcomer’s Club, but her most valuable and cherished times was the time spent with her family.
She leaves three children; George of Maine, John and his wife Gina of N.Chelmsford, and Letitia “Leeann” Stewart of Campton, NH; two loving daughters-in-law Gina of N. Chelmsford and Martha of Dracut: six grandchildren: Joey, April, Sara, Mackenzie, Gianna, Francesca: three great grandchildren; Luka, Prudence and Sophia: two sisters, Margaret Farrera and her husband Gus of York, ME, and Joyce Indelicato of Millville, MA; many nieces, nephews and many dear friends she had acquired during her lifetime. Anna was predeceased by her son, Michael; and dear brother, Joseph Indelicato.
On Friday, December 17, 2021 all are welcome to attend her calling hours from 10-11:30 a.m. at Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, MA 978-851-2061. Her funeral Mass will be offered at 12 noon at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main Street, Tewksbury, followed by burial at St. Mary Cemetery.
