DANIELSON- Leo J. Vallee, Jr., 75, died Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Hartford Hospital.
He leaves two sisters, Patricia A. Provost of Webster, MA and Maureen L. Heath and her husband Bert of Quinebaug, CT; four nephews and nieces, Paul R. Provost of Mentor, OH, Kerry A. Provost of Worcester, MA, Angela M. Symock and her husband David of Douglas, MA, and James M. Provost and his wife Laurissa of Chino, CA; and six great-nephews and nieces, Tristen, Kosmo, Greenlee, Victoria, Leyna, and Nolan; his former spouse Anita Gomez-Vallee of Ridgefield, CT and several friends.
Leo was born in Webster, MA on December 8, 1945, the first child of Leo J. Vallee, Sr. He graduated from the University of New Haven, CT with a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice. While there he played on the varsity football team as a defensive tight end. He earned his Master’s Degree from the University of Bridgeport, CT.
Leo was a successful Senior Computer Analyst for many years and retired from Aetna Insurance Company. He earned a black belt in Taekwondo and spent years as a martial arts instructor in Judo, Karate, and Aikido. He enjoyed showing classic Chevrolet cars and was proud when his 1955 Chevy Bel Air appeared in Hot Rod magazine. Leo also enjoyed many sports but cheered the loudest for his favorite teams the Yankees and Giants. He loved the little things in life, creating music on his key board, a quick trip to Walmart with his sisters, or being the first to a family gathering to sit and chat. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Calling hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, MA. Burial will be held privately.
