Gloria R. (Mazza) Moore, age 90, passed away on Sunday, December 12th at Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. A lifelong Medford resident, she was the daughter of the late Cosimo and Maria (Picariello) Mazza. Gloria worked for many years in the telecommunications industry, starting out as a switchboard operator.
Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Moore, and the devoted mother of Joanne Trickett of North Carolina, James Moore and his wife Maria of Peabody, and the late Gloria Wilson and her surviving husband Robert. She was the loving grandmother of James Jr. and his wife Sheila, Danielle, Jessica, Jennifer and Sean. Gloria was the loving great grandmother of James III, Sabrina and Benjamin, and was predeceased by her siblings, the late Camille Higgins, Rose Veno, Louie Mazza and Ann Conway.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, December 20th at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 19th from 2 through 6 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
