Douglas Carlton Riley born on November 30, 1943 in Trinidad, raised in Barbados, born to Eloise and Seymour Riley. In addition to his parents, he is pre-deceased in death by his brother and sister, Edward and Esther respectively. Douglas passed away on December 11th, 2021 due to complications from Covid-19. Douglas was the fourth of five children. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, daughters, Diana, Carline (Clarke), Jessica and his son Doug Jr. In addition, he leaves behind three brothers, Melvin, Hartley and Neville. There are also 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Douglas’ favorite hobbies were playing vintage records, cooking and baking for his family and friends. His culinary skills were excellent, especially his chop suey and homemade chicken noodle soup. In addition, he enjoyed baking sweet bread and casava pone.
He was devoted to his family and loved by all who knew him. His smile would light up the room.
