On December 5, 2021 Jeannette K. Shenk, passed away at Johns Hopkins Bay View Hospital. She was born in Baltimore 96 years ago on July 4, 1925 to the late Alexander & Sonia Kreidich. She was married for 64 years to the late William Shenk, whom died on March 27, 2012. Jeannette is survived by her daughters, Debra Shenk, Terri Shenk , Kathy Khatib and her husband Joe Khatib, and her beloved watchdog & companion, BeeJay.
Jeannette, our Mom, was a homemaker who was involved in many activities, Kard Klub group, Ellen Sauerbrey campaign, gardening, Girl Scouts, hosting many parties for birthdays, holiday, crab and us kids, secretary with Dad’s civil engineering company, PTA, American Wine Society, TOPS (take Off Pounds Sensibly) and Towson Community Police Relations Council. We will miss them both, for to have as parents was a blessing. They were always active, liked to travel and loved life shared together.
Thank you Johns Hopkins Bayview ER & ICU, Charlene our Mom’s caregiver for many years and niece Leslie for doing all they could in her final days. Thank you for the many expressions of love from others.
