Yeomans, Marielaina E. (Michalakos) of Needham, formerly of Framingham, December 12, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Walter G. Yeomans. Devoted mother of Wanda G. Patterson and her husband George of Wellesley Hills, and Michael L. Yeomans and his wife Kara of Needham. Loving grandmother of Nicholas and Katharine Patterson and Harrison and Alexander Yeomans. Daughter of the late Michael and Victoria Michalakos of Lowell.
Marielaina was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1960, and the Chandler School for Women in Boston. She married Walter G. Yeomans on January 12, 1969, and they settled in Framingham. For many years she worked as an administrative assistant in the Framingham Public Schools. Marielaina was a faithful steward at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
Visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt.16) Wellesley, on Sunday, December 19, from 4-7pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St., Weston on Monday, December 20, at 10am. Interment in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell. Donations in memory of Marielaina may be made to St. Demetrios Church or to a charity of your choice.
