Roger W. Taylor, 67, of Assonet, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at home. He was the husband of Susan E. (Reed) Taylor and father of the late Andrew S. Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was born in Providence, RI son of the late Alexander and Shirley A. (Bernard) Boick and step-son of the late Leo Taylor and had resided in Assonet since 1984. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an engineer for Dominion, Providence. He enjoyed cooking. He will be remembered as always being thoughtful, kind and donating whatever he could to those in need.
Including his wife, he is survived by 2 nieces and a nephew: Krista, Kelsey and Adam Lima.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M.
Calling hours will be Friday, from 4-7 P.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
