Daniel N. Colangelo of Medford passed away peacefully at the Winchester Hospital on Saturday December 11th. He was 82 years old. Born and raised in Everett, he was the son of the late Paul and Sadie (DeVito) Colangelo. Danny graduated from Everett High School and worked with Shawmut Bank. He later worked for several years with Everett Carpet Company. Danny was a kind and generous man who enjoyed a loving marriage with his wife Carol and a close relationship with his nieces and nephews. Danny was also a dear neighbor to many in South Medford
The beloved husband of Carol A. (LaCapria) Colangelo who passed away in 2017, Daniel was the cousin of John Nystrom of Framingham and Carol Cogliano of Saugus. He also leaves his dear nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 16th in Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
