Wendy-Lee G. (Bennet) Robbins, wife of Johnnie W. Robbins Sr. passed peacefully at Westerly Hospital on December 10, 2021. Wendy was the daughter of the late Edward and Maude Bennet of Ledyard. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, 3 sons, Johnnie Jr. (Christine), Shane (Rosanne), and Wade (Melissa), 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Wendy was known for her dancing, baking, and her love for her family. She leaves behind her 2 brothers Dale (Sharon) and Briane (Bernardine), 1 sister, Pamela (Michael), and many much- loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers, Edward Jr. and Sherwood Perkins, 2 sisters, Joan Butler and Elysabeth Perkins.
Calling hours are Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 5 to 8pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl St Mystic. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mystic VFW on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2pm.
