Jean - Nil Moreau, 87, of Manchester, NH, died Saturday December 11, 2021 in the Derry Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Derry, NH. He was born in Barnston, Quebec, Canada, on September 25, 1934, a son of the late Armand Moreau and Albertine (Roy). He had been a resident of Manchester for the past several months, formerly living in Nashua, NH and Hollywood, FL. He worked many years at Save On Walls Co., Inc. in Hudson NH. Jean had been a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Nashua, NH.
He is survived by five sons, Gaetan Moreau, Jocelyn Moreau, Daniel Moreau, Christian Moreau, and Joel Moreau; his grandchildren, Cherie Queenan, Bryna DeVay, Alexis Franz, Austin Moreau, Taylor Moreau, and Marsh Moreau; his great grandchildren, Adriana, Gabriel, and Kennedy Franz, Jaxon and Cash Queenan, and Kia DeVay; his brothers, Roland, Denis, Normand, Andre and Pierre; his sisters, Paulette Wilson, Monique Moreau, and Celine Boissoneault; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Yolande (Masson) Moreau.
Following cremation, he will be brought home to Quebec, Canada for services. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
