Janet “Jan” Corry, 69, of Tifton passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held for Ms. Corry at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Eulogies will be given by family and friends. Ms. Corry will be laid to rest at a later date.
Born January 10, 1952, in Tifton, Ms. Corry was the daughter of Joyce Callaway Corry of Tifton and the late Frank Corry. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Corry, III. Before retiring, she worked as a speech pathologist. She was a member of ASHA, the National Organization for Speech Pathologists. She loved adventure, travel and always had a joke for everyone.
Jan was a people person, who brightened the lives of all who knew her.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Corry is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Michele Corry of Statham.
