Obituary

In Lexington, Frances A. Shea, known as Fran or Frannie, age 85, passed away in her home while surrounded by her loving family and friends. Fran was married for 50 years to her late husband Francis (Buddy) Shea. She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Edward Milson & Prudence (Tina) (Cassarino) Milson and her late brother Charles (Skip) Milson.

Fran was a resident of Lexington and was formerly of Raynham. Throughout her life, Fran was close to her many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She loved to sew, knit, and crochet, especially making gifts for other people. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was always trying to feed her children and friends.

One of Fran’s favorite things to do was to go to her monthly Club lunches with her lifelong friends. She also wouldn’t miss her Monday outings with the girls in Lexington. A hockey fanatic, a favorite pastime was going to her sons, grandson and nephew’s hockey games. And you couldn’t stop her from talkingpolitics!

Fran is survived by her children and grandchildren; Lauren Shea of Arlington, VA and her daughters, Kelsey and Samantha Tigner; Andrea Shea of Medford, MA; Francis L. Shea of Arlington, MA and his wife Wendy Spivak and son Collin-McMahon-Shea; Daniel P. Shea of San Francisco, CA.

Funeral services are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton, MA A funeral mass will be celebrated on February 18th at 11:30am. at Sacred Heart Church in Boston, 169 Cummings Highway. In lieu of flowers, donations in France’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
