Anne M. (O’Connor) Walsh, age 86 a longtime resident of Lowell and Chatham, MA passed away peacefully on December 8th, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the widow of the late Edmund F. Walsh, who predeceased her in 1998.
She was born in 1935 in Moycullen, Co. Galway, Ireland into a large and loving family before emigrating to Boston as a young woman.
Anne loved all things fashion related, she was a very health conscious person who greatly enjoyed her daily walks. In her later years at Cape Cod she spent many days antiquing with friends.
Anne was the devoted mother of Timothy Walsh and his wife, Cynthia of St Petersburg Florida, Evelyn Trudel and her husband, Robert Trudel of Lowell, MA. Her daughter, Eileen Walsh of Lowell MA, and Julie Centrella and her husband, Pat Centrella of Reading MA.
Anne was the loving Nana of seven grandchildren: Julia, Christine, Virginia, Jack, Antonio, Aine, & Eamon

On Sunday, December 12, 2021 all are welcome to attend her calling hours from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA 978-458-6816. On Monday, her Funeral Mass will be offered at 12 noon at ST. MARGARET OF SCOTLAND PARISH, 374 STEVENS STREET, LOWELL, MA. Her burial will be held privately at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
