DiPirro, Guyton “Nino” of Wellesley, December 10th. Beloved husband of Margaret A. (Britt) DiPirro. Devoted Father of Steven D. DiPirro and his wife Carol of Merrimack, NH, Debra A. Cronin and her husband Paul of Chicago, Il, and Carolyn M. Slaboden and her husband Scott of Wellesley, MA. Grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Amanda, Emma, Ashley, Andrew, Abby, and Mark. Great grandfather of Zoey and Sasha. Brother of the late Anna “Nina” Maccini.
As a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, Guy served as an air traffic controller at Burtonwood Air Field in England. Guy was co-owner of the Linden Store Delicatessen, aka “Nino’s”, in Wellesley. He also worked at Wellesley College as Manager of Custodial Services until his retirement in 1999.
Family was first and foremost in Guy’s life. Guy loved to share stories about his life experiences and played an active role in raising his grandchildren. In addition, one of Guy’s favorite pastimes was leisurely drives with his wife, Margaret. His words of wisdom, sense of humor, and contagious smile will be with us always.
