Nancy (Rody) Schirner, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at the Prescott House in North Andover, where she was receiving rehabilitation due to a short stay in the hospital.
Nancy was formerly of Andover and had also resided in Whitinsville, Massachusetts and Hampton, New Hampshire. She is survived by her beloved fiance, Fred Lloyd of Greenland, New Hampshire, two daughters; Janet and her husband George Inangelo, Jr., of Charlton and Linda and her husband Todd Cole of Oklahoma, grandchildren; Worcester Firefighter, Nathan Schirner of Whitinsville, Tara Kuindersma and her partner, Kevin Winchell of Douglas and Ryan Kuindersma of Douglas, great-grandchildren; Nathan Schirner, Jr. and Joseph Werme. Nancy was predeceased by her late husband Emil G. Schirner in 1996 and loving son Jeffrey Schirner in 2019.
Nancy and Fred were classmates at Andover Punchard High School. Both widowers and enjoying their 64th class reunion, the two started dating. Nancy and Fred went on many cruises and spent winters in Florida.
Nancy enjoyed buying and selling antiques. She would sell her wares at Todd Farm in Rowley on Sundays for the past 40 years and had her usual spot under the shaded oak tree.
Nancy and Fred’s motto was: Live, Love, Laugh.
Visitation for Nancy will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Tuesday, December, 14, 2021, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Interment will be privately held.
