Annie Ruth Bryan Hand, 74, of Rayle, formerly of Tifton, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at her residence.. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Hand at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Omega Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Roger McDonald and the Rev. Mark Woods will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 11, 2021, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Wade McDonald, Mike Senkbeil, Eddie Senkbeil, Dewey Drawdy, Brian Hand and Kevin Hall will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gus Deanda, Ben Taylor, Pete Lukas, Damien Serrata, Dallas Hancock, Sheriff Ray Paulk, Arel Valdez, Dr. Billy Hancock, Virgil Johnson and Mike Delk.
Born September 21, 1947, in Omega, Mrs. Hand was the daughter of the late Fredrick Arthur Bryan and Ruby Elizabeth Holton Bryan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Wayne Hand; and one sister, Frances E. Taff. Before retiring, she was a ward secretary at Tift Regional Medical Center. She was also a member of Tift Avenue Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hand is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Justin C. and Allison Hand of Maryland, Russell W. Hand and J. W. Bryan Giddens (Renee Hancock), all of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and the Rev. Mark Woods of Washington, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Madison Giddens, Carson Woods, Caleb Woods, Sky Hand, Colton Hand, Reed Hand and Bryce Giddens; and several nieces and nephews.
