Linda K. Provost (Bunyard), 65, of Manchester, NH, died Wednesday December 8, 2021 from endometrial cancer which she fought boldly for more than 7 years. Her strength and her ability to walk in her faith through this struggle were an inspiration to everyone that knew her.
Linda was born in Myrtle Point, OR on December 4, 1956, a daughter of Donald Bunyard and Shirley Traine. Linda has been a resident of NH since the early 1980s. She was employed as a teacher for the Manchester School District for many years prior to her retirement just a few years ago. She loved teaching and sharing her love for American history with the students at Manchester’s Mclaughlin Middle School.
Besides spending time with her husband of 30 years, Linda also enjoyed sewing, crafting or just spending time outside relaxing or in the garden.
Linda is survived by her husband Gilles A. Provost; her four daughters, Jaime Roble and her husband Ronald, Shannon Siemer, Brianna Provost, and Samantha Degreenia; Linda is also survived by one son, Joshua Provost and his wife Hayley; five grandchildren; her sister, Kathy Paige and her brother, Douglas Bunyard. She was predeceased by both her parents, and her brothers, Michael, Bradley and Matthew Bunyard.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 18th at 1:00pm at Trinity Life Community, 12 Station Road, Bedford, NH. All guests are asked to wear a mask and follow COVID precautions. For those unable to attend, please contact the family for live online viewing options. She will be interred in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH on Monday, December 20th at 2:00pm.
