Robert Edward “Bob” Davidson Sr. passed away on December 7, 2021. He was 76 years old.
A longtime resident of Malden, Bob was the son of the late Alfred and Blanche (Andrews) Davidson. He was a US Army Veteran having served his country during the Vietnam Era and then worked in retail as a grocery manager for many years. Bob was married to his wife Carol for 53 years and they loved spending time at their home in Maine.
In addition to his loving wife Carol M. (Dunleavy) Davidson, Bob leaves his two children, Robert E. Davidson Jr. and Jeffrey R. Davidson. He was the father-in-law of Barbara J. Davidson. Bob was the dear brother of Richard Davidson and his wife Linda, James MacKenzie, Mark MacKenzie, Carol Bardaro and her husband Michael and the late Alfred Davidson and Donald Davidson. He was the cherished grandfather of Jeffrey Davidson, Justin Davidson, Alexandra Davidson and Robert Davidson III. Bob also leaves many nieces and nephews and one great-nephew.
A funeral service will be held at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 577 Salem Street, Malden on Saturday, December 11th at 10am. Visitation will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, December 10th from 4-6pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
