Obituary

1st October of 1933 - 28th November of 2021

From Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at the age of 88, Faye Dorothy (Conway) Sprague has
passed away. Predeceased by her parents, Dorothy (MacDonald) and Walter Conway, her
siblings Walter and Margaret, her husband, a U.S. Marine veteran, Paul Sprague, and her beloved daughter, Donna Jaqueline (Sprague) Piche. Born in Poughkeepsie, New York, she moved to Dorchester, Massachusetts as a young girl; It is in Massachusetts where Faye lived and enjoyed the rest of her life. She was a graduate of Dorchester School for Girls. Diagnosed with Polio as a young adult, Faye proved to her friends, family, and the world she was a fighter, surviving the virus and continuing her life with post-polio. She held a career at New England Medical Center in Boston, where she worked for many years. Her favorite activities included: spending time with her family and friends, going shopping and to the hair salon, playing weekly bingo, camping at KOA in Middleborough, as well as playing games such as ‘Scrabble’ and ‘Words With Friends’. She raised her family and spent most of her life, surrounded by her adored neighbors, in Brockton.

She was the mother of David Jerimiah Sprague and his wife Carolina, of Warwick, Rhode Island, Darci Jeanne Sprague and her partner Jim, of Weymouth, and Donna Jaqueline Piche and her husband Ronald, of Bridgewater. Grandmother of Cody Ron Piche, Kylee Anne Piche, Lisa Lisette Piche, and Brian Piche, all of Bridgewater, as well as Monique Nikki Godfrey of Wrentham and Bradley Michael Piche of Easton, Sean and Justin Smith, both of Attleboro, and Justin’s wife, Mai Na Smith, of Providence, Rhode Island. Great Grandmother of Nathan Hunter Piche of Bridgewater. She was known to her grandchildren as “Nana Do”. She was also considered family and known as “Nana” by Marisa Beauvais, Lori Huff, Erin Hughes, Kathleen Chichester, Jill Gosselin, Jaclyn Baker, and Annemarie Bourget. She was a long time friend of Valerie Redmond of Casper, Wyoming; though the two never met face to face, they shared and cherished countless memories. She is also survived by many, many other friends. Faye will be remembered by her friends and family for her true kindness, compassion, goodwill, and giving personality. Faye never turned down a good time, laughing and joking on even the darkest of days, never failing to put a smile on your face. She will be alongside her husband, Paul, at the
veterans cemetery in Bourne.

Services will be held at Conley Funeral Home, 4 to 7PM, 138
Belmont St, Brockton, on the 9th of December, 2021.
