Obituary

James C. McMorrow, 83, of Bridgewater died on December 5, 2021 peacefully at his home surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer.

He was the son of the late Josephine (Wallent) Sabina and Clifton McMorrow. He was the husband of the late Shirley (Burns) McMorrow.

He is survived by his daughter Kelly McMorrow of Bridgewater; step-son Kerry Keene and his wife Pamela of Raynham; and grandchildren Penny McMorrow of Bridgewater and Molly Keene of Raynham. He was also the grandfather of the late Zachary Keene. He will also be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews and their children with whom he enjoyed spending time.

Born in Brockton and raised in the Lithuanian Village, he served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957. He was employed by the Henry Perkins Foundry in Bridgewater from 1964 to 2010.

He enjoyed camping at the Ellis Haven Campground in Plymouth throughout the 1970's. He enjoyed country music, and was actively involved in the Rhode Island Country Music Association in the 1990's and early 2000's.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Thursday, December 9 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary), Whitman, followed by a service at 1:00. Burial will be in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman.
