Margaret L. Camuso (Bramante) lovingly known as “Nonni” passed away peacefully on Friday, December 3rd at the Ridgewood Center in Bedford, NH. She was 100 years old. Born in Augusta Sicily, the daughter of the late Sebastiano and Sebastiana (Patania) Bramante. Margaret came to the United States as a young girl and joined her parents in Boston’s West End. Once married she and her husband Joseph settled in Medford where they raised their family. She worked as a seamstress for many years. Nonni was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed keeping busy with family and friends. She enjoyed ceramics and crochet. Nonni made afghans for all of her grandchildren. She was active for many years at the Medford Senior Center and when she moved to Richmond, NH, she was active with their local senior’s group as well. She also enjoyed travelling to Europe and to Hawaii and the warmer parts of the east coast.
The beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Camuso, who passed away in 1985, Margaret was the devoted mother of Tony Camuso and his wife Lois of Richmond, NH, Diana Buckley and her husband Edward of Londonderry, NH, Robert Camuso and his wife Michelle of Litchfield, NH, and Marguerite Rivett and her husband Bob of Londonderry, NH. Nonni is lovingly survived by 20 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was a dear sister to Mary DiBella, Josephine Sateriale, Frank, Salvatore and Richard Bramante.
Margaret’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, December 10th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday, 3 - 7 PM.
