NATICK: Scott A. Nelson, age 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 5, 2021 after a brief illness.
He was born in Cochituate, son of the late Dayton G & Pauline (Blake) Nelson.
Scott was an avid Boston sports fan who loved his oldie’s music, fishing, playing horseshoes, and vacationing at Pushaw Lake Campground. Most importantly, Scott was a family man whose main love was spending time with his wife, kids, and especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa, and his three sons, Mark and Cheri Nelson of Framingham, Tim and Margot Nelson of Natick, David and Jillian Nelson of Salem. Grandfather to Lucy, Jack, Caroline and Zachary; Sibling to Brad Nelson of Natick, Steve & Terry Nelson of Clermont, FL, Laurie & Steve Dill of Bellingham and Roy Nelson of Natick and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Friday, December 10, 2021 from 4-7 pm at John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd, Wayland.
A celebration of Scott’s life will take place at the Natick Amvets Hall on Saturday, December 11th from 11-3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Scott’s parents to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alzfdn.org).
