Juliet Fitzgerald Sims, 79, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, December 4, 2021, at her residence.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Ms. Sims was born March 6, 1942, in Albany, Georgia, to the late Woodrow & Lila Eubanks Fitzgerald. She graduated from Henry Grady High School and later attended Oglethorpe University. Ms. Sims owned and operated Juliet’s Antiques in Fitzgerald. She also served the community with elder care with Experience Works, keeping check on senior citizens throughout our community. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Atlanta and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her children: William A. “Bill” Sims, IV of Helen; Juliet Sims Sanders of Marietta and Jennifer Jill Shaw & James of Covington; grandchildren: William Atticus Sims, V, Dr. Paul H. Sanders, IV, Andrew Logan Sanders, Alan K. Bradley, James Benjamin Shaw, Thomas Fitzgerald Shaw, Jennifer Shaw Whitmire and Woodrow Atticus Shaw and a brother, Wilbur Fitzgerald of Atlanta. Several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
