Jean Ann Pendleton, 72, of Wenham, MA, passed away on November 30, 2021. She was born to parents William "Red" and Barbara (Kehoe) Hetherton, on February 23, 1949 in Elmira, NY.
Jean worked at Beverly Hospital in Beverly, MA as a Dietary Aide, Phlebotomist and Nurses Aide. After many years of service, she retired from Beverly Hospital after sustaining an injury on the job.
She enjoyed art\painting, was an excellent cook, voracious reader, faithful friend and dedicated mother and grandmother. Jean was also a Vietnam Veteran.
Jean met Kenneth Arthur Pendleton while they were enlisted in the Army in 1968. They were married on April 7, 1969 in BelAir, MD. Together they raised two children: Kelly Pendleton Santos and Doreen Marie Pendleton.
Jean is survived by her siblings Jennifer Hillman, Susan Strauss, Carl Hetherton and Lois Plaisted. Grandchildren Kayleigh, Jamie, Ryan, April, Tyler and Justin along with her beloved son-in-law Joseph Santos.
She was preceded in death by her parents William "Red" Hetherton, Barbara (Kehoe) Hetherton, Kenneth Pendleton (spouse), Ronnie Thomas (grandson), Esther Hetherton (stepmother).
A Private cremation has been held and a memorial will be held in the near future.
