Harold Milton Wallace, 90, of Derry, NH passed away on Friday December 3, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Manchester, NH, a son of the late Ray and Idella (Plummer) Wallace. Harold proudly served his country with the US Army during the Korean Conflict, stationed in Alaska.
Harold grew up on a dairy farm in Londonderry, NH. He had a great passion for farming and all the animals that came with that, especially cows. He worked for many years at the Foster Beef Company in Manchester until it closed. He maintained the farm, he was so proud of, throughout his working years, up until the age of 89.
After retirement he worked part time at IHS, now known as Pleasant Valley Nursing Home. He enjoyed the agricultural fairs, looking at all the animals, new and antique farm equipment.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Hawes and husband James, his
son David Wallace, granddaughter, Kayla Hawes, two brothers Henry Wallace and his wife Barbara and Alfred Wallace and his wife Susan, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and his long-time Best Buddy, John “Junior” Piccirilli, he spent a lot time at Weber’s Junkyard with Junior and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Katherine (Kimball) Wallace in 1994.
