STURBRIDGE: Watson H. Yarber,76, of Skyline Dr., died Sunday, Nov. 28th. at his home following a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 44 years, Kathleen F."Deena" (Barnes) Yarber, his children; Tracy L. Price of Southbridge, predeceased by his son Kevin C. Yarber in 2019, Katherine Yarber of Houston, TX, Mark Yarber of Clinton, TN, Jody Yarber of Clinton, TN., Gregory Yarber and his wife Janet of Alcoa, TN., Tammy Sullivan and her husband Timothy of Madison, Ala., and Sherry Ramsey of Tellica Plains, TN., his brother Marvin Yarber of TN, sisters Peggy Cosey and Betty Carter of TN., 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers; James, Gene and William Yarber and sisters; Ruby Hayes and Jewell Golden.
Watson was born in RedFox, Kentucky, the son of William R. and Leo Elsie (Kelly) Yarber and later served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a longtime truck driver and most recently was the maintenance supervisor for Venture Community Services in Sturbridge for the past 13 years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 7th in Greenville Baptist Church, 684 Pleasant St., Rochdale at 10 a.m. A calling hour in the church will precede the service from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenville Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Venture Community Services, 1 Picker Rd., Sturbridge, MA 01566. The MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is assisting the family with arrangements.
