Lilyann Patience Maynard, 8, of Elwood, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, on December 1, 2021.
She was born on June 17, 2013 in Anderson, the daughter of Daniel and Stephanie (Talkington) Maynard. She was a second grader, who had a huge personality and was bursting with love. She was a great hugger and loved horses, singing and music, and her favorite movie was "Lion King." Lilyann loved collecting little trinkets and never had enough baskets or buckets to hold her collections!
She is survived by her parents, Daniel and Stephanie; two sisters, Emma Ann and Ava Leeann; grandparents; Mamaw, Doris Davidson, Nana and Poppy, Joy and Adrian Nickelson, Papaw, Greg Talkington (Angie Stevens); Great Grandparents; Jim and Charlotte Yoder, Jill Hemminger and John Hemminger; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended loving family members.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at East Side Church of God, 2600 East 5th Street, Anderson, with Dr. Kerry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.
Visitation will also take place on Tuesday at the church from 12 noon until the service at 2 PM.
