Larry Steven Miller, 72, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Wednesday December 1, 2021 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. Larry was born September 14, 1949, in Reading, PA and was a son of the late Herbert and Anna May (Schatz) Miller. He was raised and educated in Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1970. Larry has lived in Londonderry for the past 42 years, having previously lived in Manlius, NY.
Larry served in the U.S. Army Reserve during the Vietnam era. He had been employed for 32 years as a Distribution Manager with Marshalls Corp. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and was an avid coin collector and also loved doting on his grandchildren.
Members of the family include his loving wife of 47 years, Sharon (Holbrook) Miller, son, Christopher Miller (Teri Foley), two granddaughters, Emily and Ava Miller, a brother, Scott (Cherrie) Miller and his sister, Wendy Miller and a nephew, Antonio Miller. He also leaves his very close friends and “brothers”, George Hayes and Paul Szabunka. Larry was predeceased by two brothers, Craig & Kent Miller.
After cremation, a visitation will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 4 to 6 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road in Londonderry with a service beginning at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Sonshine Soup Kitchen, 6 Crystal Ave., Derry, NH 03038.
