Donald Lynn Sheppard, age 59, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Ventura, California. Don was born October 13, 1962 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Marilyn E. Buchner and Walter S. Sheppard.
Don worked as a welder in Wyoming before obtaining an Associate’s degree in Environmental Science. He then specialized in household hazardous waste for the rest of his career in Ventura County, CA.
In Don's personal life, he enjoyed camping, hiking with his dogs and off-roading. He was passionate about muscle cars, Jeeps and firearms.
Don is survived by his two sons, Joshua and Jesse; his sister, Michele Elaine-Doo; and his step-sister, Alicia Himes Matula.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Don's life to be held on December 11, 2021 from 9:30 – 11 a.m. at The Serra Cross in Ventura, California.
