Charlton
Roland H. Hickok 65, passed away unexpectedly November 30, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves behind his wife of 41 years Linda S. (Kavorkian) Hickok, a daughter Kristy L. Hickok of Charlton, his mother-in-law, Theresa Kavorkian, brothers-in-law Steve, David and Jack Kavorkian and his wife Carol as well as nieces.
Roland was born in Germany April 11, 1956 a son of Erna (Apel) Mascitti and by Sam Mascitti as he thought of as a father,, he was also predeceased by a brother George in 1968.
Roland also leaves his pride and joy dogs, Freddie and Freckles.
He worked for local 107 carpenters union until his retirement. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post# 443 in Cherry Valley and enjoyed being part of the Growlers at Hillcrest Golf Country Club team, member of the Dog House Club, played football for Don’s Place, Mohawk Trail camping with the guys, golfing, hunting, horseshoes, playing cards, following the N.E. sports teams, and Most of all enjoying camping with Linda and Kristy and spending time with them and friends. Everyone loved Him.
Memorial Calling Hours will be Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 4-7pm at the ROBERT J.MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd., Charlton.
A Celebration of Roland’s Life will be in the Spring at a place and time to be announced.
