Mr. Richard J. Willette Sr., 68, of Methuen, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Mary Immaculate Nursing and Rehab. Born in Lawrence on July 20, 1953, he had been an area resident all his life. Mr. Willette worked as a mechanic and was a former employee of Borden Chemical, Watts Regulator, and U-Haul. He enjoyed playing guitar, visiting with friends at McDonalds, and loved to spend time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Irene (Derome) Willette of Methuen, three daughters: Stephanie and her husband Anthony Petronio of Methuen, Lucille, and her husband Richard Lacasse of Haverhill, Rita, and her husband Donald Fortin of Fitchburg, two sons: Richard Willette Jr. and his partner Aimee Hartford of Haverhill, and John Paul Willette and his wife Kelly of FL. Two brothers Kenneth Willette and his wife Pauline of Haverhill and James Willette and his wife Arlene of Methuen. One sister : Carol Willette of Lawrence. There are ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut.
