Alfred Tollko, 58, of Worcester died Thursday, December 2nd in UMass Hospital, University Campus. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Irma (Nelaj) Tollko; his three children, Kostandin Tollko of Boston, and twin daughters, Amanda and Kelsey Tollko both of Worcester; a sister, Marjeta Xha and her husband, Ilia of Worcester; and a nephew and a niece.
He was born in Tirana, Albania the son of Koco and Evdhoksi (Pani) Tollko; and came to this country on 1996. Mr. Tollko had owned and operated a construction company for many years. As an accomplished craftsman Alfred enjoyed woodworking, creating everything from furniture to artwork. The pride in his craft and his eye for detail made each item he made an exquisite masterpiece. Mr. Tollko was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church.
His funeral is Saturday, December 4th, with a service at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
