Obituary

Victoria (Manos) Stefos, 94, of Worcester, died Wednesday, December 1st at home. Her husband of 40 years, Nicholas Stefos died in 1991. She is survived by her son, Demetri Stefos and his wife, Kassiani of Plymouth; her daughter, Elizabeth Stefos of Worcester; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Christie Stefos and Victoria and Kosta Haveles and great-grandchildren, Alexia and Zoe Haveles and Demetrios and Andreas Stefos. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Nicholas and Theologos Manos and two sisters, Sophia Giolekas and Olga Manos.

Mrs. Stefos was born in Finiki, Greece the daughter of Michael and Kaliopi (Testsos) Manos, and had worked as a hostess at her family owned business's. She was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, it's Ladies Philoptochos Society and the Pan-Eperotic Society. Victoria will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and as a great cook. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, December 6th with her funeral service at 11:30 a.m. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A visitation will be held the morning of the funeral at the Cathedral from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family with arrangements.
