With great sadness Center Makor informs you that today at 5 o’clock in the morning, our dearest friend and Member of the Board of Directors Lev Shubov passed away. Lev was not only one of the directors at our center for many years, but also a person who immensely appreciated what the Makor Center does. He has always been actively involved in the creation of new programs. Lev has always been a generous sponsor and supporter of programs for children and the elderly. The members of the Board of Directors of the Makor Center and I deeply sympathize with Lev’s family and bring to his wife, Irina our most sincere and deepest condolences. The name of Lev Shubov will be forever inscribed in the history of the Makor Center and the Russian-speaking Jewish community of Greater Boston. Let the memory of Lev Shubov be a blessing for his family and for us.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt.16) Wellesley on Sunday, Dec. 12 from 10am-11am. Relatives and friends kindly incited. Interment private.
